A few words about Lourdata

Lourdata is located in the southern part of the island at a distance of 16 km. SW. from Argostoli – the capital of the island.

The area combines mountain with sea and is overgrown with olive trees, cypresses, banana trees, palm trees and edible crops in the gardens along the beach. It is a summer tourist destination that has many taverns and other dining centers.

The village and the tourist accommodations are built in an environment with rich vegetation which is one of the village’s assets.

Many waters flow through the village that originate from Ainos, with the spring under the emblematic plane tree in the center of the village flowing endlessly with gurgling water.

Also, Lourdata beach has a small natural harbor and next to Lourdas beach there is another large beach for those who want peace and quiet without umbrellas and crowds.
